Taking a cue from my college chum Erika (not to mention some good old fashioned prodding from my friend Crystal), I've decided that's it's finally time for me to jump on board the blogwagon and see where it takes me. I know different folks use their blogs for different purposes - some as an opportunity to get their feelings out in writing, some to share news, some to entertain, some to reflect, etc. For myself, I'd like to keep people up-to-date as to primarily what's happening in my family. For those who don't know (is there anyone who doesn't know?), Chason and I are expecting a baby, and while many of our friends hear about the day to day developments, those friends and family members who are further away don't get all of the same updates.
So here's the news so far: I'm 21 weeks and 3 days pregnant, due November 7. We know she's a girl, and so far all signs point to good development and health. I'm through with morning sickness (vomiting lasted from weeks 9-16) and have moved on to feeling mostly pretty good, though I get tired easily. Chason is doing well (no barfing), and we're pretty much in a perpetual stage of anticipation at the moment.
I will do my best to post at least once a week, and I'll definitely post when we have any news to share. I'll try to get some pictures going on this site, too.
